The Concept:

Fashion Unearthed endeavours to be a place of experience, discovery and inspiration, through collections, exhibitions, fashions shows, live events and social functions. The venture will consists of a number of entities which combined together will provide a unique and exciting experience.

Through hosting live shows, exhibitions and events - Fashion Unearthed aims to develop relationships between designer, buyers, audiences, critics, media and customers throughout Australia aswell as providing an amazing opportunity for designers to gain valuable exposure and help launch their collections. The designers the concept will cater for (but not limited to) are fashion designers, artists, photographers, make-up artists, hair stylists and filmmakers.

Fashion Unearthed is currently sourcing a venue which will host the following:

1. Live Events - The live events will be the main promotional tool for designers to showcase their work to a large audience. The live events include fashion shows, art / photography exhibitions and independent film showings.
   
   
2. Boutique Store/Gallery - will sell the collections which are showcased in the live events. The store will provide the designers an opportunity to make revenue on their collections.
   
   
3. Small Bar - During the evening the venue will transform from a boutique store into a small bar which will then be the basis for the live events. The small bar will also provide a great social environment and networking opportunity for designers to interact with buyers and customers. The bar will serve a variety of food and beverages from boutique Australian suppliers.
   
   

Each of the entities will ultimately complement each other to provide a unique and cultural experience.

Vision

• To foster the professional development of designers and provide a creative hub in which to exhibit, promote and sell new collections. Fashion Unearthed will also provide guidance for new designers to help prepare them for the commercial industries.
  
  
• To provide valuable commercial experience for young models, make-up-artists, hair stylists, fashion show co-ordinators, fashion photographers, fashion videographers and event co-ordinators.
